So there seems to be a big an advantage for me with 1.5b for Amiga. I can use UAEGFX to get better screen resolutions. (800 x 600, 1024 X 768, 720p, 1080p) However it seems much more unstable so far. I have not yet found a stable configuration using AmigaSYS4 hardfile from Amiga Forever and Workbench 3 from Amiga Forever (Copied from dir on Amiga Forever PC to a hardfile and then transferred to Pi 3B via USB and midnight commander. "mc" at prompt) (more stable).
Please advise me if any of you are finding the emulation just quitting back to the shell prompt, as I may be having power issues or card corruption issues. Just found my other Pi 3 Power supply so maybe I can stop cheating using a 6 port power hub or Amazon device power supply. The beta also has like 3 other emulations including C64, and what appears to be something like a game launcher that is not yet populated with data (Was the bonus stuff that was talked about earlier that i have never seen?? I was getting the Pi 3 lightning bolt a few times (low voltage) while trying to make this stuff work. How is the 1.5 beta working for you guys?

I would also definitely recommend reaching out to Gunnar via the
Facebook page, as he rarely checks on this website anymore. That being said, this is some awesome information, and could definitely be helpful in helping him tackle issues. As he is doing further beta testing on this build, I would definitely recommend reaching out to him about everything.

Things I have had to overcome and lessons learned and other useful stuff:
I used Win32 Disk imager to burn the Amibian image and works fine on my Pi3 Bs. Also can burn images with Etcher. I have ended up with a bunch of bad cards, personally. I used FAKEFLASH to test cards on PC. I am ending up tossing 3 cards of 7. Also had issues with SD adapters. I ended up buying a decent card reader with micro SD Slot to avoid adapters completely. I tried using bits of clear tape to make them more snug at contact end in adapters. Also check that power supply is 5V 2A or 2.5A ideally for Pi 3 and earlier. Pi4 may be 3 Amps. I have one cheap power supply that wont work at all even though supposedly rated right. It is now a phone and speaker and battery charger. [Pi Power spec: https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/faqs/#pi-power] SD Card Formatter from the SD Foundation can be used to wipe cards in the Pi's custom filesystem.
Win32 Disk Imager can also be used to back up your SD cards too. Create a file in the top block and click READ instead of Write.

If you want to get cheap and clever just buy Amiga Forever Essentials for your phone and use UAE or ftp or email the ROMS to yourself... https://www.amigaforever.com/android/

I have also been busy getting a scratch Workbench 3.1 with files copied from DEVS: LIBS: C: etc for continuity and usability from A4ever WB3 - as you well know - is often a step forward and occasionally a step back... I also logged the stuff I was doing and adding in the installation - it started becoming extensive...maybe 30+ lines... and not finished... of course... (but then it never truly is...) I have also feebly attempted to create an installer HDF library for this purpose. Too small. I have router ftp server...but you gotta be able to 'get on it'... So a samsung 64GB flash drive is often the go between for .hdf and .iso files between Amiga Forever, my PC File system, and Amibian. (so far for ISOs is useless as the beta does not yet support ISOs but i have some waiting...) It also forgets kickstart assigned in the configuration - I have to re-select ROMs every time, and the "p=p2" and x= "x + CR" is another issue - forgot which setting to turn off the bug... Using bluetooth apple keyboard and USB dongle wireless mouse...
Also got Running and a ClassicWB v28 OS 3.5 running and online...under the 1.5 beta. Not without challenges tho - I had to issue "sudo chmod -R 777 HDF" to make the .hdf files in the HDF folder writeable. So the problem was not limited to my USB drive after all. User or group permissions issue. I had problems with the emulation just quitting on me. I finally used the option to recompile from github and things seemed to get better. Not sure. but i did my time. Maybe I need to implement the CTRL-G guru meditation routine. (Anyone get it? Reply if you get it.) Also had to change a variable in a file to make my USB transfer drive visible. I think the process is posted on FaceBook page (or here) No doubt Gunnar will fix / edit these in the final and take out the party tracking stuff on first boot...
I love that this emulation attempts to allow peel down screens like on a real Amiga. Just don't try a wide EdPlayer with a PAL Hires screen. It TRIES to allow you to do that. Keep screen modes of similar width and you should be OK. ;-)
System is ClassicWB OS 3.5 v28, Work is mine... Looking for easy flexible and cross OS compatible GUI unarchiver not DOPUS. Too bloated. Using shell & Diskmaster 2 for now. Looking at Packmaster...

The bonus stuff was something that was kinda implemented back in 1.4.004, that was a opt-in for 1.4.1001, that was a "what emulator do you want to use" for Amiga, C64, Spectrum and SCUMMVM. The newer launcher might be that, but if it's more GUI-based than that might be something new. Any way you can post a screenshot?
