Hi, just sent donation. Can you please send download link?
Many thanks
What is the donation amount needed to try 1.5?
It took a bit of doing to get it up and running, my Amiga skills are back at the commodore 64. thanks for making this. I'm having a blast with it!
Hi, i made a donation for three days!
Actually no link received.
Regards
Jens
Do I have the latest version, @Gunnar? (stephen dowden)
@Gunnar donated what little i could for the 1.5 Pi4 beta, but noticed in my email it stated "Recipient needs a Paypal Account." is your account good? ((edit: seems all good now))
After update of the system via menu and reboot , FSuae not starting automatically anymore. Keyboard layout is not english , so cannot even do "find / -name " :(
I just donated a little money! ;)
Thank You 4 Amibian
Hi I'm new to Amibian and made a donation and download 1.5 for my Pi4 so I wanted to know if I can setup amibian the same way as the standard PC version of Wuae with a HDD and install workbench 3.1 on it
hi, I made a donation. could you send me download link please?
If you've not changed SD cards I would suggest that a new card is your next option.
Hi , I have flashed the image to my sd card but once inserted although the green led shows activity the screen remains black , I have reformatted and flashed my card a number of times now using win32 image and also balena used a few different formatting programs but all with the same result . I have also redownloaded the zip but to no avail , please advise me what I am doing or not doing wrong/right .
Steve
hey, i spent some money for testing the new amibian 1.5 but got no link for downloading, can someone provide me that? BR
Thorsten
I am making it farther and farther into the hstwb installer script each time that I try. I am running 1.5 on my Pi 4b. My question are these:
The kickstart 3,9 rom comes in 2 folders one with split lower and upper bin files and one with combined bin files for each Amiga model. The installer seems to not recognize these. Do they need to be renamed and which file option (split or combined)?
What I was able to install only had PAL format display options. How do I get the NTSC options?
Is it possible to allow or make the installer add additional packages beyond the 3 it does now? Just one example is whdload magazines.
Can you install the P96 Picasso package?
Has anyone else noticed that the step to increase the size of the space fails?
One suggestion: make the instructions more forcefully emphasize the need for the "permission" command.
somehow the image feels heavier compared to previous amibian version,is there any optimizations to be done for the next version?
thanks but i dont really need the desktop at all
Hello, how can i remove/uninstall the desktop since i dont need it to save some space ??
Thank you for clarifying. I will check out the Linux drivers and hope it gets added.
I have not seen any response to my question regarding MIDI support under the Amiga emulation with Arminian 1.5ee. Is this because no one knows how to or if it can function or because I should post the question at another location and if so where? I was hoping Gunnar would be the best resource. Someone please point me in the general direction to move forward.
I'm not sure if I am posting this in the right place. I have successfully been running Amiga OS under the Amibian 1.5ee on my Pi 4b. I have run a Midi sequencing program, Bars and Pipes but even with a Interface of USB to MidiDIN I am unable to transfer the sound to the Midi instruments. I checked it using my PC and everything beyond the Ras Pi works with my PC software. Is there anyway to send Midi out the USB port for MIDI while running AmigaOS? Is this a potential enhancement to Amibian?
I have posted some instructions on how to run Aros 68k on amibian, at the EAB.

You will find the needed files in the first post of that thread.
I notice that restarting the Amiberry GUI does not do the same as Quit and Start it again. Eg, if connecting a USB joystick, it will not be detected unless one quit and Starts Amiberry again.
Also some stuff seem to stick even after quitting and Starting it again, so that selecting a different config and Starting the emulation, the emulation will not load properly.
This brings a downside to using autostart, because sometimes another config will not run properly after the autostart have being run once. I have to disable autostart and then reboot the Pi to be sure that it works.
Example, I did install Aros 68k to test today. I have set it up to use a certain resolution which works ok. If I start Aros68k after the OS39 that I have as autostart, then Aros68k will load, but in PAL screenmode.
After disabling autostart and running Aros 68k first after a reboot, it will load properly.
Another example is that if I swicth between different setups, sometimes the system slows down. I notice this when running a game, either from a floppy setup or from WhdLoad, then the sound gets distorted. At this point it does not help to quit the Amiberry and Start it again. I must reboot the Pi before the game starts to work normally.
AmigaOS4.1
Any news about running this on Amibian1.5 ? Or it will not possible?
Did you save the config with the show gui box unticked?
I can not get the autostart to work. I did save my working config as autostart, and unticked the show gui on startup, as described in the help text
Also tried unticking the start in quickstart mode.
These tests don't really give the right information in Emulation, but you can use them to compare between Emulators,
I haven't used this testing program, i used sysinfo for comparing Emulations and the pi4 scores alot higher there, i also compare Emulations by running demos like tbl starstruck and again, the difference between the pi3 and pi4 is very big.
Hey, mouse pointer is an overscan issue. Edit the config.txt and disable overscan. The speed, its all about how you configure the emulator. The emulator has changed alot, Mess around with it untill you find the settings that suits your need.
A few observations so far.
In the Amiberry GUI the mouse cursor is misaligned, making it very difficult to use the mouse. When the amiga emulation starts, the mouse is ok.
Sometimes when quitting Amiberry, it will ask for login/password.
I saw a youtube video earlier where a guy was running Amibian on a Pi 3. In turbo mode he got the WhichAmiga reporting 426mhz. This was when emulating a 68030. I think he got 262mhz in mode fastest.
Now, I was thinking the Pi4 would be faster than the Pi3, but I get lower speed reported by the same tool and a similar setup. Is this to be expected or will this improve in the next versions?
I received the link also, all fine.
Im try to flash the img on a SD card on macOS Catalina.
Using BalenaEtcher:
Tried different SD cards / different ports, I got always device failed at the end with a Checksum error between destination/source.
Tried also through console ( sudo dd if=amibian1.5ee.img of=/dev/disk3 bs=2m) but the PI4 not starts, the green led on PI4 blinks every 1 sec.
Tried to start BalenaEtcher from Console (sudo /Applications/balenaEtcher.app/Contents/MacOS/balenaEtcher)
Also Checksum error between destination/source
SOLVED: Using ApplePiBaker, it works now

While waiting for my Pi4B to arrive, I have a question.
Is it possible to install a desktop environment like Lxde or similar from the commandline in Amibian?
