Any idea how it's possible / if it's possible? I'm getting to a splash screen after changing cmdline.txt to look for /dev/sda2, but it hangs on the splash screen, if i hit a key afterwards it will print map: vt02 => fb0, followed by the path to the splash image, and continues to hang. I am open to ideas / suggestions

Are you trying to run the Amibian distro? Or are you trying to use the USB drive as a HDD for the workbench?
