I am new to Amibian, so this may be a silly question, but how do I create an hdf file? I have clicked 'Create New hdf' which then brings up a browser and asks for a file name, but I cannot actually type anything.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks

Sorry, of course I meant hdf files.

Hi,
I got around it by using an existing TOSEC Workbench hdr file, then booting from WB floppy and reformatting & reinstalling.
Thanks for the link, though, that should prove useful - a blank hdr is obviously the better solution, and I am grateful to you.
However, it would still be nice to create within the program.
Thanks

Hi,
I was struggling with the same problem yesterday. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to solve the problem either, but as a workaround I downloaded one of the blank hdf files from here: https://pyra-handheld.com/boards/threads/how-to-set-up-hard-disks-with-uae4arm-uaeall.75917/
