I have Amibian on my SD card, and it works well, and I boot into the Amiga interface. I would really like to get into Debian at times. So, can anyone tell me if I can do either of the
following:
1. Is there some startup file or something that I could edit and perhaps comment out the stuff which causes it to boot up the Amiga interface at startup and which would therefore leave me in Debian?
2. Or, once I am up and running in the Amiga interface, is there a way that I can toggle back into Debian and/or some way to quit/kill the Amiga interface and get back to Debian (and if this is a quit/kill thing how to restart the Amiga interface when I am finished with Debian)?
Thanks.
That is the linux os. It is the command line interface. The menus you see are a list of shortcut commands that you can use to make things easier.😉
Gunnar,
I tried this, but it's not what I was wanting. When I am on the emulator screen, I have options at the bottom of Reset, Quit, Shutdown, Help, Restart, and Start. I guess you meant that exit and quit were the same thing. But when I hit Quit, I am taken to the Amibian 1.4 menu which allows me to choose from 7 options and none of them seem to be what I need. I am trying to find a way to completely exit the Amibian environment and go all the way back to the linux OS. Any ideas?
Thanks for the info. I'll give it a try.
Press f12 to get to the emulator gui. Then press the exit or quit button. Then you enter the debian command line interface.
