Hi i have demo which are in .rp9 format that i cannot find out how to load any help appreciated
Good to know, I didn't know that.
Those are standard zip files so just rename rp9 file to zip and then unzip and get the adf/whatever you need from there :)
As far as I know, RP9 files are specific to Commodore/Amiga Forever. It's a container that holds everything pertinent to what you are trying to load. If it's a game, it has the ADF or ISO files built in, as well as graphic files like covers or screenshots, a description of the game and information about it's release, etc... If it's a machine, such as the A500 or the Commodore 64, it will have the machine code as well as a lot of the information types like game files have.
WinUAE wouldn't know how to read these, as they can house virtually anything to do with the Amiga or Commodore Forever products in them.
If you want to look for them, get yourself a copy of Amiga Forever if it's an Amiga file, or Commodore Forever if it's a Commodore 64/128/etc... file. Honestly, I'd say get Amiga Forever anyway, as it's a wonderful emulation package as well as a useful tool if you need to spin up virtual Amigas to test anything before you build out your RPi Amiga.
no idea. never heard of that format. try aminet for solution on running it from your workbench.
