The party 1.5 beta on facebook page works on my Pi 3B up to 1080p using UAEGFX.
It could be they upgraded or customized whatever Gunnar is using as the backend for Amiga Emulation (I believe Amiberry). Did the screenshots specifically show it was Amibian they were using for Amiga emulation? If not, they could be using any of the ARM Linux Amiga emulators out there (UAE4ARM, Amiberry, RetroPie, UAE-Rebirth, etc...) If you're talking about screenshots like Stephen Jones Youtube videos, while he tried out Amibian, he also used versions of Amikit and other builds to test out all available for the Pi.
EDIT:
It's Amiberry. If you want to update it, I saw on the Amibian Facebook page that someone posted a walkthrough on how to specifically update Amiberry: https://github.com/midwan/amiberry/wiki/Upgrading-to-the-latest-version?fbclid=IwAR0rHxqvaRQWyfrO64EKY3L1KJLbPG-8PTpqKEZQk7bV1a8B3SEigfXYdGA
I see so many screenshots online of emulated Amiga, and the screens look great, not grainy, sharp, and high res. Many of them are Amibian.. Someone's figured it out, I just figured they might be hanging out in this forum somewhere!
I think at this point we're limited to the current build's emulator (which sets a max 760 width by 270 height. If anything is supported later on, I think it would have to be done in the emulator-side.
That being the case, Gunnar is currently working on version 1.5, and I know there is a LOT of updates he is adding to it. Since he uses the linux UAE emulation, I don't know if this would be part of that or if it would be part of what Gunnar is working on. His last update on the 1.5 work is from February, but he did send a small update in March, so I know he is still working on it when he can.
