I've been trying out Amibian on my Pi3 but I ran into some problems.
With UAE4ARM 0.4 selected, everything works fine, but the emulation lacks essential features. For example, not enough RTG memory, and no aspect ratio correction.
With UAE4ARM 0.5, I found performance to be very inconsistent. In RTG mode, performance is very good, so running Workbench and various applications works great. Even tried Gloom 3 in RTG mode, and it's fully playable even on relatively high-res RTG screens. However the AGA emulation seems to be much, much slower than 0.4. Testing with Alien Breed 3D, it really slows down with 0.5 or the SDL version, while it's extremely fast on 0.4 (indistinguishable from WinUAE running on my desktop PC).
I tried playing around with the chipset settings, but I can't find anything to fix the poor performance in UAE4ARM 0.5. Is it just a major regression in terms of chipset emulation performance, or am I missing some setting?
uae4arm is under development. Many issues that are not figured out yet, wich is why so many versions of it are on amibian.
